70 years ago, there was a small temple of Hanumanji at Thaltej Tekra, Drive-in Road – western zone of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. During his 12 years of priesthood, Mahant Shree Vijaydasji Maharaj, a dedicated worshiper of Hanumanji, developed a temple in 10 x 10 area and set idols of Anjani Mata and Hanumanji. Gradually, temple became famous for its sacredness amongst the devotees and believers of Hanumanji. It is the first and only temple of Anjani Mata in the state of Gujarat, thus it has a huge number of worshipers coming in every day.
The temple needed to shift as the area was developing under the Metro city scheme of AUDA. The attitude of AUDA towards the temple was very sensitive and supportive and the temple was allotted a new plot on the way to Bodakdev, which was close by the old location. On 3rd March 2006, the new temple was founded. The design and workmanship of the temple is very beautiful and aesthetically sound. Idols of Pawanputra Hanumanji and Mata Anjani Devi had been founded then.
Thousands of devotees visit the temple with faith every day, especially on Saturday. Hanumanji – Devotee of Shri Ram and Rokadia Dev of Kalyug and Sati Anjani Mata fulfill the wishes of the devotees, who come to them with faith, respect and trust. This has been an experience of thousands of devotees.
